“Ahhhhhhh” The sound of me awakening from my room to a nice beautiful Saturday filled with sunshine energizing my blood stream. Walking hundreds of steps down to hear the waves crushing as it slowly rises to shore tempts my instinct of wanting to jump into the ocean. It’s good to know off the bat that your day is going to go well as planned. For the most part, last Saturday went according to plan.

Of coarse, i just can’t throw myself into the  ”blueberry kool-aid” with Brian and Sarah waiting for their engagement session to be taken. Well, i did have my lovely girlfriend, Megan, who is actually learning about photography to assist me. However, her attempts of photographing these two love birds e-session ended up in surprising me with remarkable images (especially since it’s her first time!) 

To give the highlights of Saturday’s e-session with Brian and Sarah, we carpooled to a very popular, yet beautiful nature scene of Laguna Hills. Depositing $4 in the parking machine made my money’s worth as I went off in rampage photographing every bit of affection and love shared between them. After, we took an adventure to Thousand Steps, Laguna Beach where “soaking up the sun” was the main priority since it was the beginning of Spring. With the potential of gaining more than enough Vitamin D at the beach, our day ended with sushi. hmmmmmm Nothing can get better than that! Thanks for a wonderful day Brian and Sarah. I hope you guys had fun!!!!

The past few days have been the most relaxing days i ever had in a long time. I would be spending time with close friends to having a nice dinner in Culver City with my photog buddies ( Henry and Adrienne ). It’s been quite a stressful semester maintaining photography, work, and school. However that is not going to stop me from doing what i love. I’ve been contemplating if i should pursue a career in a medical field or advance myself within photography. I have lots of decisions to make as you can tell. Life is filled with surprises and you definitely can’t tell what is coming your way until you live it.

Stepping away from reality, i spent my weekend photographing Danielle Alcaraz at the LA River. I met her through a fashion shoot i had last fall that a friend of mine promoted. By working with Danielle, she have brought out my creative styles in a realm of fashion. If you haven’t seen Danielle, she is a former model for American Apparel. Well, i hope this week will go by fast because i really can’t wait to celebrate my father’s birthday and spending time with the family. YAY! 

After working a 10 hour shift at the hospital, it was time to unpack the camera to capture a gorgeous day out in Newport Beach. I was quite surprised that i made it alive throughout the day. Something about the beach just awakens me and suppresses the chaos that is going around the world. About a few weeks ago, Michelle Darlene invited me to assist her on a portrait session. I was glad she gave me the opportunity because it gave me a chance to bring out my creative ideas in working with a male model. Justin Baumann was very relaxed, which it never occurred to me that my day was complete without stress. Justin just acted naturally. For those that don’t know Justin, he is one of the promoters for 944 magazine, as well as, a model for “Lucky Brand”. He is currently working his way up to becoming a successful model. Stay tune because you never know…. He may be in the next GQ magazine.
