I’m excited today to blog a once in a lifetime engagement session taken place at the Honda Center! I thought i would never get to set foot on the hockey rink where the Mighty Ducks play their home games.  The last time i was at the Honda Center was a decade ago watching Beauty and the Beast with my mother. Ashley and Rene went out of their way to make their engagement session reflect their favorite hobby–HOCKEY. We also headed into the wilderness where i do my routine mountain biking rides. So they hiked. They played on ice. This was an engagement session that was filled with activities! Thank you Ashley and Rene for a wonderful engagement session : )

It’s February, i would imagine it will be snowing because i’m looking forward to another engagement session in Big Bear : ) I love photographing engagement sessions. I believe most of the sessions i have done couldn’t have been possible without my clients creativity in choosing wonderful locations. One of my favorite engagement sessions of 2011 was from Ann and Rommel’s engagement at the ACE Hotel— this was a start of a new relationship as Megan and I bonded with them throughout our stay in Palm Springs. Couple of months after, 9/10/11! They were married at a beautiful location off the coast of Laguna Beach. It was memorable, intimate, and tearful as they both exchanged their vowels–I believe Megan and I both couldn’t stop shedding tears. Here is a collage from their special day! Thank you both again and we shall stay in touch very soon!

2012, i know this year is going to be another great year filled with adventures and memories. I wanted to thank  everyone that have supported me throughout the past years in doing what i love! I also wanted to thank my dearest love,Megan Julia, who had always been there for me in almost every wedding– her creative juices seen in her work is an inspiration and motivation to me.

It was not too long ago that Megan and I had the honor in capturing one of the largest weddings of 2011. Kate and Binh chose a beautiful place to have  their wedding ceremony and reception. Decor by Thomas Bui, brought the venue with even more sparks. This gorgeous wedding was taken place at Vibiana located in Downtown Los Angeles.
