It’s February, i would imagine it will be snowing because i’m looking forward to another engagement session in Big Bear : ) I love photographing engagement sessions. I believe most of the sessions i have done couldn’t have been possible without my clients creativity in choosing wonderful locations. One of my favorite engagement sessions of 2011 was from Ann and Rommel’s engagement at the ACE Hotel— this was a start of a new relationship as Megan and I bonded with them throughout our stay in Palm Springs. Couple of months after, 9/10/11! They were married at a beautiful location off the coast of Laguna Beach. It was memorable, intimate, and tearful as they both exchanged their vowels–I believe Megan and I both couldn’t stop shedding tears. Here is a collage from their special day! Thank you both again and we shall stay in touch very soon!

Best,

Kevin and Megan

Yes, engagement session marathon! Out of the ordinary engagement session, Paul and Susana suggested to roam into DTLA and photograph at Chinatown. Yes, engagement session marathon! Out of the ordinary engagement session, Paul and Susana suggested to roam into DTLA and photograph at Chinatown. I would have never wonder how beautiful the place was until my eyes were engorged by the lanterns and “the colors!!” Growing up and having a mother who was obsessed with buying nick nacks for the home–Chinatown. Paul and Susana made the day filled with expressions, love, and laughter. I enjoyed every moment from this e-session! Thank you both again for an awesome day out!

Over the weekend, Megan and I had a wonderful time driving around a small town in Oakland. Walnut creek was beautiful, calming, and just a wonderful place filled with everything in walking distance. Last Friday, we drove 12 minutes up to where Jeanny and Dan was married on Saturday. The place was just stunningly beautiful, which more teasers to come!

It felt like it wasn’t too long ago since their engagement session where Jessie and I went around town photographing the two love birds. We explored, climbing up some hills, struggled in rowing, and hitched hiking our way on the road. The day was filled with activities and non-stop shooting session in the rain. Thank you Jeanny and Dan for taking us all over the place. Oakland, I’m coming back!!!

Please come back to check out more from their wedding day!
